Molecular formula
Properties:
White granular or powder ,or white light flake. Slight peculiar odor, easily soluble in water and ethanol.
Main uses:
1. It can be used as an antiseptic for food and feed, and as a preservative for bread and pastry.It is easy to mix with flour evenly.It can not only be used as preservative,but also provide the necessary calcium for human body,which can strengthen the function food.
2.As a feed additive, it can effectively inhibit feed mildew and prolong the storage life of feed. If it is combined with other inorganic salts, it can also increase the appetite of livestock and increase the milk production of cows. Calcium propionate has low volatility, high temperature resistance and good animal adaptability, and is suitable for a variety of feeding materials.
3. In addition, calcium propionate can also be used as an additive for toothpaste and cosmetics, play a good anti-corrosion role.
Recommended dosage:
The maximum amount of propionic acid to food:
1. wet noodle products , dumpling skin, wonton skin, Shaomai skin 0.25g/kg;
2. Bread, pastry, soybean products 2.5g/kg;
3. Vinegar, soy sauce 2.5g/kg; Raw grain 1.8g/kg;
4. Cosmetics 2%;
5. Fruit soaking solution 3~5%;
6. Canned arbutu 50.0g/kg.
Storage:
It shall be stored in a cool ,dry and ventilated place and shall not be mixed with toxic chemicals for transportation and storage.
Package:
A. Paper-plastic composite bag packaging or woven bag packaging,25kg/ bag;
B. Nylon ton bag packing; Can also be customized according to customer requirements.
